What size should Etsy photos be?+
At least 2000 px on the shortest side is a good target — sharp in Etsy's zoom and quick to upload. See our Etsy listing photo size guide for more.
Why JPG and not PNG?+
Product photos as JPG are many times smaller and look the same. Transparent areas are filled with white, since listing photos don't use transparency.
Will it make small photos bigger?+
No. Photos smaller than the size you pick are kept at their size — upscaling only adds blur.
What is the 4:3 preview?+
Etsy crops search results to 4:3. The preview shows what buyers will see in search, so you can check nothing important is cut off.
Are my photos uploaded?+
